Early voting is already in progress in Texas. This year’s elections, especially for the State Board of Education, could be critical in deciding whether millions of Texas schoolchildren get an education based on facts and sound scholarship or the personal agendas of politicians. Yeah. Y’all vote. I am afraid that I will procrastinate and not do it–not thrilled so much with either major party right now. However, if I lived in Texas, I would show up just to vote against the right wing extremists on the Texas SBOE. That alone would be reason enough for me to show up.

C’mon Charles, go ahead and do it, hold your nose and vote.
They had an interesting stat on CNN, about the turnout percentage of the top 16 or so Democracies.
Afghanistan was slightly ahead of us, and some other miserable 3rd world country was below us.
Pathetic.
